RECONFIGURATION. DMITRY GLUKHOVSKY AND REALISM

This article is an attempt to look at the latest novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky – Text – against the writer’s previous work. The author of the article draws attention to the continuous creative evolution of the Russian artist, as well as the wide range of his writing skills. The Text is a psychological novel that constitutes a successful marriage of classic themes, motifs or problems with what is current and strongly related to the progress of technology and changes in the perception of the reality. The author of the Text appears as a watchful observer of the world around him, who in his first realistic novel makes an accurate diagnosis of the condition of modern man.
